These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Stacktic — the insights engine for your software stack — including our web application and the site at stacktic.app. By using Stacktic, you agree to these Terms.

In this document, "Stacktic," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Stacktic, LLC. "You" and "your" refer to the person using Stacktic and, where applicable, the organization on whose behalf you act. If you use Stacktic on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

01The service

Stacktic helps operators see and manage their software stack — a tool registry, a user directory, access mapping, and cost, access, lifecycle, and security signals. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the product develops.

Early access. Stacktic is in an early-access phase and is provided on an "as available" basis. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable or behave unexpectedly. We appreciate your patience and your feedback.

02Accounts and eligibility

You need an account to use Stacktic. You must provide accurate information, keep your account credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Stacktic. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

03Connecting your workspace and your data

Stacktic works by connecting to the tools and systems you authorize — for example, your Google Workspace. By connecting a system, you represent that you have the authority and any necessary permissions to grant Stacktic access to that data on behalf of your organization.

As between you and Stacktic, you retain all rights to the data you or your organization make available to the service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to access, process, and display Customer Data solely to operate and provide the service to you. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

05Third-party services

Stacktic integrates with third-party services such as Google Workspace and Slack. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. Access we obtain through those integrations is used in accordance with their requirements, including, for Google data, the Google API Services User Data Policy as described in our Privacy Policy.

06Intellectual property

Stacktic and its software, design, and content are owned by us and our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service in accordance with these Terms. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or obligation to you.

07Fees

Stacktic may be offered free of charge during early access. If we introduce paid plans, we will make the applicable pricing and payment terms available before they apply to you, and your continued use after that point constitutes acceptance of those terms.

08Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that signals and insights it produces will be complete or accurate. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the service.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stacktic and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).

10Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stacktic and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, your Customer Data, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11Term and termination

These Terms apply while you use Stacktic. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.

12Changes to the service and these Terms

We may modify the service or these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide notice. Your continued use of Stacktic after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

13Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution will be the state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.
